  • i first got into pop music in 1970 and this song was in the "top 40" in 1970. but you say it's a song from 1966. why would my my local radio station play it as a top 40 song in 1970?

  • @eydie57

Why do you ask me? Ask your local radio host instead.

  • @eydie57 - I apologize for the Moron dev3n, Losers like this shouldn't have a channel when they treat people like shit. The reason why your local radio station played it as a top 40 hit in 1970 is because the song was re-released in 1970. Something the Moron who posted this song wouldn't know because he's too stupid.

  • @wintercat2 No, I don't know the answer. In 1970 my dad was 4 years old - how the frack would I know why eydie57's local radio station played Do It back then? You are the one being an asshole.

  • MAY I HAVE EVERYONE'S ATTENTION PLEASE! Rock & Roll's history includes a number of examples such as this - songs that literally years to become hits. You remember Neil's own "Red Red Wine"? UB40 charted with a cover version twice - in 1984 and again in 1988.

Charlie Rich also comes to mind. Not long after he made it big with "The Most Beautiful Girl", one of his former labels reissued singles from the 60s to cash in on his newfound popularity.

  • @dev3n No, I agree with wintercat2. You can say what you need to say, but you didn't have to be so rude about it. Everything that needs to be said; you can pick the nice way or the mean way. Twice now you have picked the mean way. This song kicks butt !!

  • @wintercat2 why are you yelling at me and calling me names? i said thank you for being nice after dev3n was rude. do YOU know how to read? can you not read my comment to you thanking you? you aren't in a position to call anyone names. you are a bit of a brick your own self. i take back my thank you.

  • @eydie57 - You should change your nic to bricks57. No doubt you're a few bricks short of a load. If you knew how to read you'd realize that I was sticking up for you because dev3n was rude to you by telling you - Why do you ask me? Ask your local radio host instead. dev3n

  • @wintercat2 thank you for being nice. i disregard people who are rude. i figure it's just the way they were raised. no one taught them manners. thanks again.

  • This Loser posted the following, then deleted it cause he realized he was a hypocrite.
