My 2000 Suzuki Marauder VZ800

This is my first bike. It's a 2000 Suzuki Marauder VZ800. Everything is stock from what I can tell except the windshield, mirrors and levers. I had to get new mirrors and levers because when I bought it the left mirror was broken and the tip of the clutch lever was snapped off also. I've only been riding for a few months and I love it! This is a great motorcycle.

Eventually I'm going to get these upgrades:

-Vance&Hines Cruzers
-a new seat (I'm thinking a Profiler or Corbin Stinger)
-17t or 16t front sprocket
-Vesrah clutch springs
-stage 2 jetting kit from www.SpacerJim.com.

Better start saving! :o)

I just bought a 2000 'Rauder too....Red with black stripe down the middle. These are very cool bikes. Mine's stock as well, but the previous owner punched the baffles...a little louder than stock, but not quite aggressive enough sound for me. I'm also looking at the V & H Cruzers. From what I've been reading, the 16 tooth sprocket is probably the best all-round choice. I don't think mine's been changed, but I have to check it...I'll prob'ly go 16T as well. Enjoy the bike...I know I'm going to.

@dudeacus My baffles are still there, but have several holes drilled in them. Sounds cool enough for now, but I want it a little "meaner". I really like the sound of some of the drag pipes, but they're pretty pricey. Don't want to lose too much back pressure either. Taking it out tonight before the weekend rain. :o) Ride safe!
