Obama didn't have to leave Illinois to do that photo shot with Superman. However, it is about as far away from Chicago as one can be without leaving Illinois, in an Ohio River community called Metropolis. (No, I am not making this up.)

Very clever. You caught the wierd similarity between Washington and Hollywood.
Come to think of it, too bad these characters aren't just being cast for a short movie instead of being around for four or eight years.
Maybe we should turn Washington over to Hollywood. After all, a "B" actor turned into an "A" president.

This is a great parody on the election circus. We go through this every four years and it is like watching an old movie over and over. The monster bash injects a breath of fresh (pardon the pun) air into the process.
I particularly liked the American Gothic transformation. Very clever.
