Well you can play the bass but the sound quality is a bit crackly on the vid ,but still good mate

Good cover though the string sounds does not quite like the original but you are left handed so you can do the Mc Carntney act better

I made a mute pad out of some sponge and an old sock, it does throw the bass out a bit but you just tune once the pad is in place and play the whole set muted, if you make your own you can control the amount of mute by making it thiner or thicker. but yea you can just palm mute, I just don't like to I like to have my hand free to move more. Great cover btw, loving the Rick, I want one finished like Pauls in the 60s

What kinda strings are you using? They're sounding very roundwoundish and ballsier to my ears.

@Baklap94 it came with rounds, but i put flats on it. I cant remember when i switched them, but this does sound somewhat like rounds...might just be the recording though

isnt there like a sponge thing on the rickenbacker basses that alow you to mute it but and also ajust the amount of pressure on the strings?

@beatlefan247 yeah there is...the one on mine is missing, but i wouldnt use it anyway...word on the rickenbacker forum is that it throws the guitar out of tune by making all the strings a little sharp. you can just as easily palm mute, which gives you more control anyway
