She came in #4 on the "Search for the Next Elle Woods" tv show a few years ago, and actually has had a more successful career since than any of the top 3 did. My sister and I both loved her the best on the show, too. I'm so glad she's doing well! & I think she's a totally amazing performer. =D

seriously? Anne is good...I just saw her tonight in STL with my family, but I happened to also see vicki perform a couple of weeks ago when my fiance and I were given tickets a friend couldn't use and she was truly exceptional, vocally she was stronger, to be honest, than anyone I've seen in the role and I saw the original cast back in 2003

This stinks! It just makes me want to see Lauren that much more AND they are not coming back to KC anytime this year! This means that I'll have to start stalking her Twitter and book a last minute flight to a city when she performs.

As I'm sure you know, Lauren went from the "Legally Blonde" tour, in which she went on as Elle more than sixty times, to play Sandy in the "Grease" tour until it closed in May. She joined the 1st national tour of "Wicked" shortly thereafter as a member of the ensemble and Glinda understudy, and played Glinda for the first time last Saturday in Dallas. Anne is currently with the 2nd national tour in St. Louis, so they probably met for the first time just prior to this performance.
