Thanks I'll definately give it a go - we haven't had him long maybe 2 weeks now and he's still getting used to us but we're using food as bribery to step up etc so thought we might give some tricks a go, can't hurt right? Thanks for replying ^_^

How did you teach him to do this I've been trying for a couple of days now with my sun conure and unless I have some treat in my hand and get him to follow it with my hand I'm having no luck : (

@flockandscalesmama You get him to follow it faster and faster until he can't follow it anymore and just recognizes you making a circular hand motion. I also slowly pulled my hand with the treat higher and higher every time I'd do it. Also, once you've been doing it for a while, give him/her opportunities to think about what you want by doing the quick hand motion of a circle and waiting for 30 seconds; if he/she doesn't understand, go back to following the treat again. Hope that helps.
