Mega Man 4 - Pharaoh Man's Stage

*takes break from unpacking* Okay... onto the video! Today we go visit Pharaoh Man in his ever so sand-filled home~ Being a casual run, no buster only shenanigans here, I will be using the boss weaknesses cause I want to. My recent Mega Man 9 run should show that I can handle buster only if I feel like it... which is really not all that often. XD

The first thing I always noticed about this stage is, of course, the music! Easily one of the best songs in Mega Man 4, Pharaoh Man's got good taste in background music, hehe. The stage itself is pretty good too! The opening with the sand effects and a couple new enemy types... the hidden balloon power-up... I just really like it.

Pharaoh Man can be considered a little challenging without his weakness... but with it he becomes crippled to the point that it is just amusing. Unlike Quick Man... the time freeze weapon in THIS game has enough ammo to take out Pharaoh Man entirely! The difference here though is... you get to shoot him the whole time, wheeeeeee! Just for the record... after testing it in this video, I find just mashing to fire button manually works better than a turbo controller for Pharaoh Man.

There exist a glitch.

Just use Flash Stopper just before the victory theme plays.

If your timing is right, Flash Stopper's color palette remains until you get to the next screen.

He's an artifact, being a pharoah mummy. Artifacts go in museums. And in museums, theres no flash photography, exactly what bright stopper is.

Hehah. You're a pretty awesome Megaman player, much better than myself, though I always take out Pharoah Man first in Megaman 4. Why? He's awesome. You should be the one in the game, but...won't they call you the..."Pink Bomber"? Hehe.
