Second Coming performing on September 9, 1994 in Seattle's Fenix Underground. Second Coming subsequently went on to sign to Capitol Records, about 3 1/2 years after this video was filmed (after replacing the guitarist seen in the leather hat with ex-Sweetwater guitarist Dudley Taft and vocalist Travis Bracht).

@bloodtearsej actually that woman, Demri, left him in 1994. she broke up their engagement and relationship. why? nobody says. the song Lifeless Dead is about her. she was the reason why you see him in pics and vids so depressed, lonely, painful, etc from 1994. many songs of the mad Season album Above is related to the situation of her leaving him. she broke his heart two years before her death.I don't get it, why she would left a man with a such beautiful, noble soul.to me an idiot

I notice the mark on the hands. it could be one inflammed. maybe he was too high and forgot to cover it with gloves or something like he always used to do. he was very cautious with that.

Layne Staley commanded the living shit outta the microphone the whole damn time during this whole performance! With such ease and grace...he seems to not care that he's rocking the fuck outta that joint. And as always,what an amazing voice! A voice truly unique and different. A voice set aside from the rest. Really? Who can sing like Layne?
