I think that the M'uru bosses history is sad. Kael'thas kidnaped him and used his holy poweres (since hes a naru) and abused them to bend them to his will (which made blood elf paladins.) After so much abuse M'uru was corrupted y Kael'thas and turned into a being of shadow.

The most simple explanation is that the guild disbanded. Following the trend of other high content guilds, they eventually broke apart due to stress and unsuccessful raids. When their raid leader (Not Jack) left the guild, others followed suit. It's a sad end for any guild.
