I have a HD TV Vizio and a Magnavox BluRay/DVD player. Works great with old DVD movies. Glad I kept mine! No more red, yellow, and white wires!

Jesus the comments on here is insedious. Xbox360 has good games and if you use a high def. tv your not going to lose sleep over it. Use the hdmi settings and its fine 1080p streamed. Xbox good load times. Ps3 I'm getting one just for the sake of playing the games xbox doesn't have rights too. Yes, ps3 blue ray makes a big difference, blue ray can hold up to 500 gigs its called BD-R. So less disc changing.

and 200 bucks for the hd dvd and + the xbox an the pilars of the xbox controllers + the in ternet 100 bucks = 500 bucks

xbox suck because xbox is cheaper more than ps3 but the xbox spends a lot of money with the controller and the hd dvd the antena 100 bucks and the ps3 is wireless and the controller is recharble with usb and it already bring bluray only 300 bucks and for the ps3 320 gb with ps3 move and a game with ps3 controller haha ps3 is more superior

I'd say go with the PS3.Just about any disc will play in it,from CD all the way to Blu Ray.Not only that,but of course we all know most of the time,Sony really knows how to make video look good.

Dongles for Xbox are Wonky, and anyone who tried for HD and Dolby D from them knows, get the right cable supporting optical TOSLINK out, (that's the red glowing light) If you have HDMI, the 7 channel or less signal for surround is with the video in one cable, HOWEVER!
