Trainfreak2009,
Despite some of the other comments cited, I think you did a great job. The Hammond sounds very full and rich and your playing is good. I was thinking of posting some of my own videos (own a XK-1) but after reading some of the comments here I'm not sure. Bottom line, you did well and please keep posting so all us Hammond players can enjoy. I also like very much the arrangement of this great old hymn, Blessed Assurance. God bless you.

Not bad at all since you are just starting out. A few tips: No need to play double bass with left hand. I play with my foot and use left for tremolo swith and when i do my runs and solos. Second: The most common way to play is Have the Bb on the upper keys on with only first four draw bars out at eight and bottom use the Bb with whatever sounds you like. Just play around with it though and you'll get great!

Sounds good. I'm learning too. At :40 you probaly should have kept the left hand on the lower manual while playing the right hand on the top. For left hand try using just the two adjacent white drawbars ( the 8' and the 4')

I think that we have all been where you are now, but this will soon change. Just hang in there and practice. Additionally, as this is not a piano, let you fingers glide and connect under the keys, and do not lift your hands off of the keys. This is the difference in playing a piano versus an organ. Finally take some of the treble out of the pedals and, use only the left pedal drawbar. God bless, keep up the good work
