An enlightening lecture about the path all of us will walk, from the day we enter into this life until we meet with Allah (Our Creator). This video lecture focuses on the Signs pointing towards the closeness of the Last Day.

Abdullah Hakim Quick was born in the United States of America and accepted Islam in Canada in 1970. He pursued his study of Islam at the Islamic University of Madinah in Saudi Arabia where he graduated and received an Ijaza from the College of Da'wah and Islamic Sciences in 1979. He later completed a Masters Degree and a Doctorate in African History at the University of Toronto in Canada. His thesis was an analysis of the early life of Sheikh 'Uthman Dan Fodio, a great West African Scholar, Mujaahid and social activist.

Shaykh Abdullah has served as Imam, teacher and counselor in the USA, Canada and the West Indies. For three years he contributed to the religious page of Canada's leading newspaper. He has travelled to over 51 countries on lecture, research and educational tours.

Presently he is a senior lecturer on the history of Islam in Africa at The International Peace University South Africa in Cape Town and a member of the Muslim Judicial Council, Cape Town, South Africa. Shaykh Abdullah is also the Director of the Discover Islam Centre (Cape Town) and Ameer of the Dawah Coordinating Forum of South Africa.

Today's world is in need of innovative rethinking based on original, authentic sources. Dr Abdullah Hakim provides an example of this new, progressive thinking.

  • OK-born again Christian here-I realize the Constantine intervention and the merging of the old ways of the northsman(pagan traditions) and Christendom traditions=Christianity-Ok-but what does islam say regarding Jesus? was he just a man in your docterine?was he born of a virgin birth of Mary-I dont recognize Mary as anything but a human channel that God worked threw-But basicly-I'm trying to find contradictions with Islam and what I call Christianity and so far-I'm coming up short...HELP!

  • @Jeenyus1983 There are many videos on this channel which deal with that subject. Here is one: watch?v=RavH8y2LS9E What is the status of Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) in Islam?

He was one of the major prophets of God, sent to the children of Israel, born of a virgin, performed many miracles by the will of God almighty. Please take a look at other videos on this channel that deal with this.

  • Well, I can't say for sure, but Islam is definitely the fastest growing religion in the world! Despite efforts by the world's most influential politicians, military and the Devil himself to encourage otherwise.

I also earnestly invite you to Islam...it'll be of use to you when you eventually meet your Creator.

  • NO RELIGION, NO IDEOLOGY, can EVER give you the brotherhood and unity of Islam! NONE!!

  • bro can you tell me the name of the nasheed if you got it

  • what is the nasheed playing at the start please?

  • @QuranTafseer,

Please, if you will, guide me to the references of those Prophets from the diverse peoples and background of the world, to whome your book says Allah sent forth into the world to impart the good news?

Islam doesn't promote Slavery, Yet, The only black person in the book, who is said to be an Ethiopian is a slave. Even, when it came his freedom found opposition from with the hierarchy of religion. I can't but help note the trans-sahara slave trade.

  • @Blackknowledge1 Lol we don't believe all the prophets were white? Also this guy has done a lecture on slavery! Islam does not promote slavery! unlike the bible

  • @oscarback

That's the Christian way of believing in religion. Faith based only. No logic may be used. In Islam on the other hand, it encourages asking questions and using your brain, regardless of what people lie and slander against it.

  • Assalamu Alaikum

  • Allahhu akbar

  • What is the "song" in the begining of this video?

  • in islam speaking as a former christian isa/jesus alahim al salam is a mighty prophet not a god as in todays Christianity he was born of mary and was a miracle birth, yet he is not regarded as son of god in a literal sense.there is only one god to imply anyone can be god is a insult.god has charicteristics eg he can not die,is not able to do anything he can not lie,sin or do anything unholy as he is perfection to state a living breathing man is wrong.where in does it say "i am god worship me"?

  • Its pretty obvious that we are living the last days, as the Prophecies containing in the Holy Quran and the words of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAAW have almost all been fulfilled. Signs of the last days are almost ALL fulfilled.
