Candlelight Vigil December 5, 2009

Someone was kind enough to record one of the impromptu speeches from the vigil.

Lisa was killed by Scientology's "Tech" on the 5th of December, 1995. 11 years later, we remember her tragedy.

Thanks to everyone who showed up locally and to everyone around the world who took a few moments to remember this tragedy, and the reasons the Scientology cult is dangerous.

Here's the transcript (than you, loud traffic)

"Lisa McPherson was a beautiful young lady who was mistreated [during] her time in Scientology. She was a nice person, as said by her family and friends. She wasted money and time on people that didn't care about her. She was mistreated for fourteen days after her car accident, and she was dead on arrival after they passed her to (?) the hospital.

And we're here today to be in remembrance of her and how they mistreated her in Scientology. No one knows why they did it, and we don't know why, but we're here to remember a beautiful young lady whose life was taken away."
