Here is an update for the FNH USA's FNX9. I have about 1,000 rounds through it without a single malfunction of any kind. Shooting Federal bulk from Walmart, Speer Gold dot and HST's. It is the nicest shooting pistol I have ever owned. It rivals the (working) SIGS and HK's for quality and dependability. To put it simply, The gun goes bang and it hits whatever you point it at every time.

With the reduced bore axis that FNH USA is always bragging about with this pistol follow rapid shots are like money in the bank. They did things right with they made this little piece.

Some Fair criticism:
The lack of ability to disassemble the trigger internals without drilling out the safety mech. is borderline idiotic IMO.

For $500 I don't think you can buy a better hammer fired pistol.

Initial roll Photo belongs to Jeff5509. Great Photo.

  • I would carry it just in double action.

  • ive put about 1000 rounds into mine also. no jams, no malfunctions. just field strip after every shooting and oil it down. works like a charm. and can pull off consecutive shoots on target easy. best choice of first handgun ive had

  • I 100% agree with your results. I didn't have a malfunction through well over 2000 rounds. I found early on, in the first 100 or so, when teaching my sister to shoot that it was susceptible to limp wristing, but its since broken in nicely. It is definitely the best pistol I've ever owned, though I would worry about carrying it cocked and locked, even in a supertuck

  • @unimatrix82 That CZ is a good pistol as well. I personally would go with the FNX over it but I'm not emotionally drawn to either one really. Consider the amount of accessories available and the cost of additional magazines and such. (FNX comes with 3 mags) When I bought the FNX I was limited with holsters, sights & stuff. If you like CZ consider the SP01 Phantom. I may pick one up tomorrow. Good luck in finding what you want.

cool thanks for your quick reply, im torn between this gun and the CZ P07 but i heard the cz has issues.

  • @unimatrix82 Both have stainless slides. It's a good pistol.
