Cathie, from http://www.alkalinewaterplus.com , is demonstrating the set-up and testing the pH and ORP of a Waterman Portable Water Ionizer Pitcher [ALSO CALLED THE H2GO]. She's impressed with the results and will post this video and charted results in her blog: http://www.alkalinewaterplus.info

  • The name "spring water" is deceptive. Make sure the source of the spring is a Mountain Spring source. Otherwise many valley springs are acidic. Note: your expense for this, though, in the long run would be higher, because owning your own regular, plug-in, water ionizer can break down to as little as less than $10.00/mo. The Melody now has a LIFETIME WARRANTY! So, you can drink much better ionized water for the rest of your life for just literally pennies per day.

  • Any idea if this can be used as a sole source of ionized water, and not only for portable use? Also, any chance you could do a test of the Phresh pitcher by Jupiter?

  • I wouldn't use it as a sole source of ionized water if I had the money for a regular plug-in water ionizer. The plug-in kind is going to filter the water better and ionize the water many times better. Also, the Phresh pitcher is big, complicated and doesn't test as well as the Waterman.

  • Well I live in an apt. the faucet is filthy and rusty. Is this Melody easy to plug and unplug whenever I move from apt. to apt. ?

  • With rust in your water and moving from apt to apt I think the Waterman is totally a good choice. Rust would need to be filtered out with a prefilter if you were to use an electric water ionizer, but the Waterman [which uses no electricity] has no problem with it.

  • Thanks, for the video. Based on your video I think im gonna try the Waterman/H2go. By the way, what do you do with all these Ionizers that you use to demonstrate with?

  • @sollysolman P.S. I live in london and the water from this Ionizer tastes a million times better then disgusting London water!

  • Thanks so much for this video! I just bought this product as it was cheap and I can't afford the more expensive ones, but I was a bit disappointed when I bought it as I thought it was the the H2GO that's featured in your other video and that this might just be a cheap copy, so I'm really glad this works too. The water from it tastes fantastic!!

  • Also,

I normally drink spring water (Crystal Springs) from a water cooler. This is supposed to be spring water, so am I right in thinking it should contain minerals? I read somewhere that lack of minerals prevents ionization. Still, I would rather use spring water than tap water.
