Maiden Flight Worlds Biggest Foam Jet! 120mm EDF MiG-15 www.AirShowRC.com

I am pleased to report a successful maiden flight today.
The flight characteristic was uneventful and predictable.
No trimming was needed at all.
Ralph's suggested CG of 6.75" exactly correct.
This means that the recommended CG of 150mm is incorrect.
The RC Lander 120mm EDF and motor unit will fly on 10s 65c.
But would fly much better on 11S 65c or 12s 40c.
This first flight was with fixed landing gear.
Near future modification will be to retrofit air retracts.
Wing spar modifications are sufficient for scale style flight.
Additional sparing suggested for acrobatic flight
Elevator servos sufficient for scale style flight.
Stronger elevator servos and push rods mounted in vertical
stab suggested for aerobatic flight.

Seemed a little under powered to me,still great looking EDF ;-)

@startazz Yes, it was very heavy with 12S. After a few flights I did a 90mm conversion on 8S then I had a bad eye day and it crashed. A total loss.

nice effort mate, that fan sounded fantastic! be sure to post a video when you get the retracts fit and running 11 or 12S. All the best!
