Resident Evil 5 PC HD Gameplay & Boss Max Settings

Hey guys, got this game a few weeks ago, so far its an awesome game. I'm really enjoying killion zombies and such, and there is a good twist with the story line, sorry left 4 dead, but the story line really makes a game. Even if you have never played a Resident Evil game or perhaps you own every single one, I strongly suggest you at least give this one a rent, it's going to beef up anyone's collection. Although I record in 1280x720 I forgot to set it and it's in 1440x900 sorry for any issues.

The setting of Resident Evil 5 has a similar feel to the film Black Hawk Down. Takeuchi added that the development team is composed of staff members who worked on the original Resident Evil.[9] The game is a direct sequel to the Resident Evil series, and continues chronologically after Resident Evil 4. The player characters and protagonists are Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar, and the game takes place roughly ten years after the events of the original Resident Evil. The story explores Chris' life during the ten year interval between the two games. During the game's events, he is a member of a group known as Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA), and sent to investigate a terrorist bio-organic weapon threat in an African desert area in Kijuju, that serves as the game's setting. The antagonists of the game include Albert Wesker, a returning antagonist to the series, and Excella Gionne, a relative of the founder of the Tricell Pharmaceutical Company who operates the company's African branch. Ozwell E. Spencer, the founder of Umbrella Corp. and a key figure in the background story of the series since the original Resident Evil, is also included in a flashback.

Review
Gameplay:
All start off by pointing out the camera angle. It's been seen in all the other resident evils, but I always thought it was rather annoying and very unclean, there's nothing I hate more than getting the camera stuck on object that are in teh game, especially in the heat of the moment!
They did a good job at cleaning the camera up in this one, although playing with the mouth is still quite a challenge, if you pick this game up, then also pick yourself up an axis controller, such as the Microsoft 360 Controller for Windows, you will not regret it as it also works for many other games.
Another thing, is I liked the fact that ammo was actually needing to be conserved and shared between you and your partner, I found she was running out of ammo lots because I kept stealing it from her. They realized this though and there is a great trading system in the game to keep the ammo and guns shared evenly.
The player assists were also great, it was a good change to have to help your partner up ladders or elevators and you really needed to stick together/help each other through most of the game.

Presentation:
The graphics were mind blowing really, I never expected anything like this from these guys, but there they were here to blow my mind with another amazing aspect of the game. The characters had lots of detail and so did all the weapons and maps, I didn't find myself saying "didn't I just kill you" at all during this game, as it seemed like there was alot of different enemy's. Which really make's a difference with these types of games since there is a lot of people on screen. I wish more game creators would do this and rid me of that awful "I just killed you" Feeling.

Summary:
Over all I give this game a 9/10
It was put together very very well, and if you followed along in the other Resident Evil series the your going to love this game. Although with two people playing the game only last a few days, but it's one of those games you need to have in your collection.
I plan to keep playing this game and keep having fun!

the AI looks terrible, sheva walks trough the crosshair and the zombies dont attack her, not a game for me

Always wanted to like the RE games, but they usually disappoint. Great ideas, great storylines, but implemented rather badly. It's all about running away so you have time to orient the silly camera angle so that you can see what's trying to kill you. This latest RE has far better graphics than the others, and gameplay (I like the assisted jumps to the ladder too Kenny) but at heart it still fails due to the same run away problem as the others.

I totally agree, if they could develop a better camera angle than the one that they have used here, and maybe give the players a chance to actually look what they are shooting at before it get's to them and starts strangling them would be an awesome improvement.
