@WackyJakie I did this in grade three but my iq is way above average so it's totally fair

First things first, this is one question, not two easy questions.
It can be read in two ways, 2 + 2 Minus Sixths of (20% of 30)
or as 2 + ( 2 Sixths of (20% of 30))
the answer to the first is 4-1 = 3
the answer to the second is 4 + 2 = 6
(plus 2 because its 2 sixths, 1 sixth is equal to 1 as 20% of 30 is 6, divide that by 6 you get 1.)
I divide by 5 for 20%, my brain can calculate that much faster. 30/5 = 20% of 30, same for anything divided by 5.

I'm only in 6th grade! This is unfair!

the 20% of thirty is 6 /6 =1 +2+2=5

@classAvideo For someone who thinks in pictures conceptualizing the symbols of math may be more time-consuming but ultimately I arrive at the correct answer. In the areas of visual spatial I excel MORE than some people who are exceptionally good at performing math more quickly. This is clearly displayed in my artistic ability. It's simply a matter of how we interpret symbols/pictures. I need to actually see 20% of thirty HAPPENING conceptually rather than access an answer page in my head.

I got 4 because i just added 2+2 LOL

i knew the answer rite it away it was WHAT THE FUCK????? so ima genius.....i new tat already
-
2+2=5.....I'M A GENIUSS
it says 20 percent of thirty. so its 2+[(1/3)*30(.2)]
so by order of operations 30*.2 is 6
1/3 of 6 is 2
2+2 is 4
thats how i interpreted it

Wait... You learn percentages in elementary school. You learn fractions in elementary school. You learn order of operations in elementary school. I don't see why you have to be smart to score genius on this.
OH of course, The addition!
