Last Comic Standing 2009 (G) Part 1

Sorry for the crappy video quality, I didn't even know I was being filmed by my friend until the very end. Here's my main routine with some of the judge's comments included. I apologize to my fellow finalist, Anton and Fazio especially, for not having their sets recorded as well for we have a VERY strong line up and it is only through the skin of my teeth and the crowd's mercy that I came up on top.

Now I may sound a bit nervous in the video, that's because I was.

The reason why it's not televised is because it's Anime Expo's Last Comic Standing and not the actual cable show.

Joey Petroni is rumored to be trying out for Last Comic Standing. If he gets on the show look out he will kick butt.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. It was definitely the cleanest joke I used.

That also explains why they didn't show your To Catch A Predator bit, which I thought was amazing.

Going over the backstage footage again I think they choose the jokes that were the most anime/convention centric that god big laughs that were clean. Like I for one loved your E3 swticharoo with "Ass Effect" but I feel like AX wanted to show everyone a good impression of the nerd humor prevalent in LCS without going over the PG rating.

I agree man. I'm gonna try and get in contact with someone to see if they can at least give us our footage. I don't even care if it's online, I just wanna have it.

And don't worry man, I'm super competitive. Losing just makes me want to win more. I'm gonna take the whole show next year ;)

Just wish they would have just uploaded the entire show. Yeah it would have been long as hell but it would have been the best decision AX would have made. We should really just have a person with a camera filming the 2010 show.

You better make it to the finals again next year man. It will make some awesome drama during the critique session.

They only got you and me on it, and only part of our routines. They've got my Sailor Moon joke and your "If video games were real" joke.

I honestly thought that was my weakest joke, but whatevs. I'm just happy I got something up :D
