My Eclipse CD3200 head unit automatically connects to my Treo 800w via A2DP. No interaction required at all, as long as it is set to connect.

Does it work when you have the phone in your pocket ?

Yes, but you should be sure to lock the device since the screen may turn on when changing tracks or whatnot.  Without locking it, you'll risk accidental button pressing.

So the Clarion will NOT permit you to set a pemenent paired relationship? but others like eclipse will?

I am trying to avoid doing any more development or hacking to make this work, I don't really have the time these days...

I also have the Clarion FB275BT, but it sucks everytime to set the device as bluetooth wireless on windows mobile. Any way to get around this?

I remember when I used to connect with n95 and clarion. It was all automatic and didnt have to set up anything.
