I had heard the best cup of coffee comes from an Aeropress. I bought one. I agree. Then I heard the best method for making award winning coffee is to use the upside down Aeropress technique. This is the upside down Aeropress technique. It tasted the same. I think I needed to brew nearly a full cup ...meaning more water. And I think I should've let it steep for a minute or more. I'll try again.

  • hi glad you like the aeropress..just a couple of points to improve the taste for you..first make sure the container is heated with hot water before adding the coffee grinds to prevent bitterness..second...when pushing down on the plunger try to get the plunge to around 25 seconds for a better taste..too fast and you will not get the fullness of the coffee.one more point...a finer grind gives a richer coffee...aim for a espresso grind if you like the richness.look at my channel for more aeropres

  • Also! You can put the paper filter into the filter holder and *then* run cold water over it. Saves all that fiddling and tamping down.
