Mevr.. Weston ziet bij 1.55 de waren gevoelens tussen Mr. Knightley en Emma al, Ook al weet Emma haar gevoelens nog niet, en probeert Mr. Knightley ze te verbergen omdat hij weet dat Emma voorbestemd is voor Mr, Chirchill.

Mr. knightley,is also careful not to show his true feelings because he understands Emma's character and how she is very self-assured, independent (" i will be happy being single") so he is wise to let her know when the time is right. this is a wonderful story and movie.

i can't stop smiling during this scene. it is so refreshing to see such chemistry between two people in a movie without it being filled with lust and sexual tension. less is truly more. i also notice that Mr. Knightley takes his time with emma by keeping his distance at times, observing her from afar, sharing his wisdom with her so she could grow and learn, and accepting a dance on her terms. Even the dance is slow and careful to shadow their true feelings for one another. but i think that...
