Bethlehem on Christmas Eve: The Bagpipes of Christmas

Glenn Campbell's 1st video from Bethlehem on Christmas Eve. The unexpected sounds of Christmas in Bethlehem's Old City. (Yes, THAT Bethlehem: the birthplace of Jesus!) I have crossed the border from Jerusalem to the Palestine Territories in search of the "real" Christmas. What I came across is a huge parade of Scout troops -- Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts -- many of them playing BAGPIPES, of all things! Watch for the star of this video, who keeps placing herself in the middle of the parade.

Very nice video. I did not know about all the bagpipers in the Holy Lands. Parade participants seem proud and happy. btw To readers who are not seeing many smiles, it is undoubtedly very hard to smile while playing bagpipes ;-)
