@TheCompGame you cant get a core 2 duo but you can upgrade to a core duo like i did T2060 will run in it use artic silver 5 and yes i have a laptop

No it dont lag when I have transparency enabled.
you should only disable it,when you run something in window mode like a little game or something

Got the same laptop, seriously slow running XP.
Anything I can upgrade to run it faster?
Upgraded to 512mb about a year ago.

Upgrade to 1 Gb at least!
And you should use Windows 7
It's way faster than Xp.
