The closing title of the first set of the first concert of the reformed FAT BOOGIE HORNS (a bit too many "of the"s in a short sentence, or something like that ...).
The clip was taken in a club in Hannover, Germany called "Marlene". The title was composed by the great Jaco Pastorius; this arrangement is from Andreas Bürgel.
The soloists are Gregor Busch (tenor sax), Bernd "Hübi" Hübner (bariton sax), Andreas Bürgel (keyboards) and Carsten Wancke (trombone).
Have fun ...
The title and the subtile are wrong, the Song isnt composed by Jaco Pastorius. Pee Wee Ellis is the composer and the cut on that famous Jaco recording was arranged by Kris Berg.

Both starts for the tenor and barry sax solo's suck. They don't fit with the song, however they improve towards the end. This version is o.k. though

the arrangement isnt bad. the band is quite good. but i don't like the tenor sax player (sound isnt goood.. and the solo doesnt make much sense) the baritone neither
