On a bitter cold January 10,2009 morning, around 5:55 am the Hackensack Fire Department 4th Platoon under Deputy Chief Wagner responded to 126 Anderson street for a well involved 1 story comm used as a train station.
park st, now Anderson st? i think it has a lot to do with the rise in homeless people living in hackensack..probably looking for shelter, and they build fires to stay warm..a shame

Real Shame, Picked it up on my pager about the fire, knew exactly where it was. The Pascack Valley Line lost a great station structure.

So sad that an important historical landmark is gone. Hopefully NJ Transit will rebuild it.
