The Libertines - Up The Bracket

Our arrangement of The Libertines' classic indie anthem, "Up The Bracket" from the 2003 album of the same name. In my opinion, the songwriting partnership of Carl Barat/Peter Doherty is definitely one that sits beside such names as Lennon/McCartney, Jagger/Richards, Bacharach/David... and so on. They are just two excellent musicians with a knack for great songwriting, and this is one of the prime examples of that. It's such a shame that they disbanded so soon, as they really were something special. Let's just hope we see more reunions like last year's Reading/Leeds headline; one of my favourite live performances of all time.
Anyway, this is a great song, hope you enjoy our version, it's such great fun to play, and it has possibly the best intro of any song in history ;)
