97 Buell smoke show and crash

This is what happens when you have had a few beers and dont use your
head yes I am a total A hole I wasnt thinking and thankfully I didnt
kill myself I missed a fore hydrant and then nearly hit a pole the only
thing that saved me was 30 years of riding experiance and went into
natural reaction and put it down in the grass again I AM A TOTOAL
A-HOLE FOR DRIVING AFTER DRINKING AND LEARNED MY LESSON do not try this
thankfully I was able to lay it down in the grass and did no damage to
the bike. or myself! but it couls have gone bad easily AGAIN DO NOT BE
A IDIOT LIKE ME!!!

@rex4x4 Yea Im a bit tall for it at just over 6ft and 250 lbs but shes a rocketship with the NOS and all the other goodies shes actually punched to a 1340 with a dyna programable ignition and tons of other goodies including a 75 hp shot of NOS so she moves me OK But yea Im a bit big for her

Man, you've just got a Buell that you love, I can't hate on that.

You wanna talk idiotic? I bought a brand new 2009 Lightning the day after Buell got shut down. I paid $5,000 for a $10,000 bike. I rode it for two weeks, then tried to do a wheelie. I flipped and rolled the bike, and got thrown pretty hard.

Bike was TOTALLED.

Never even got my paper license plate off.

Pretty depressing, And seeing as that Buell had been my DREAM bike for a couple years, I cried when I saw what I did.

Burnout advice.(Dont when your drinking) Stand with your feet in front of the pegs and legs pinching bike.Try not to drag the clutch, more of a quick release.Dont bother shifting gears-that can cause the bike to get upset if not done smoothly.Then when its smoky, as you release front brake, put them legs ON THE PEGS! Thats the cool shot-coming out of a smoky hole with feet on pegs! Dangling legs look silly.

Oh I've been there... usually when I do that: there's a nice crowd of onlookers who help pick up the pieces and repeat the story every time they open a beer. I been told at 8 yrs old, 28 & 38... if you dont ride like that, that wont happen... Good thing I have a nice paying job and a helmet, cause I still haven't learned Sh*t !
