This is how it is. The government, in its attempts to destroy the drug trade (they should learn from history), is crushing most of our civil liberties.
And don't get me started on terrorism, our government blatantly uses the threat as a magic wand to do what it pleases with the publics full approval.

How else do you live with yourself knowing the failures and corruption of the humans that run the world? Alot of people manage to sleep at night because of alcohol, tobacco, mary jane... and sometimes legal narcotics!

So much better things to relax and unwind than to pollute your mind and body, just my opinion.

but see thats the thing, for the rest of us life may not be as good and fun as it is for you. sometimes i get off a tough shift waiting tables and who are you or anyone else to tell me i can't smoke a joint and forget about life's problems for an hour or so. those problems will still be there when i sober up and deal with them, but what's it hurt anyone else for me to make myself feel a little better at the end of the day?

Lots of money from the drug cartels also funds dictatorships, terrorists, child porn, whatever, not to mention that the cartels usually are part of the mafia, that is, organized crime. If drugs were legal, the cartels would not exist.
