really man ? hahaha you need a jumbo putting shaft for the iPad support

  • @dobermandog1969 -It doesn't need to be aligned with anything because it can measure against itself.

  • do you have to have the craddle or can you just put the idevice on another way ?

  • I'll wait for an ipad version

  • Yes this is much more accurate than you would ever imagine... the iPhone 4 has a complete three-axis gyroscope built into it. That thing is usually used to make intuitive games, but it can be used for a billion other things like this too. What a great idea! Read on Apple's web site about the Gyro + Accelorometer or check out the Gyroscope app on iTunes if you don't believe me.

  • oh clicbirdie

  • Saw the similar product from 2011 PGA SHOW exhibitions.

  • I don't think you understand, It reads from address position versus impact postion to gauge how open or closed the putter face is at impact. So even if the iPod is not perfectly square or perpendicular as you said it is irrelavant, because it measures from the position at address, to the position at impact, which would tell you how much the iPhone / Putter face open or closed during the stroke using the gyrometer and accelerometer inside of the iPhone which is what makes it accurate.

  • @TheMusicfan59 - Nothing is Solid here, what are you closed to?? you said you are 2 closed at address - how do you know? it's fun - not solid.

  • @dobermandog1969 That is not correct. Even if the iPhone is not on perfectly straight, it measures the position at take away to the position at impact theferfore if it is closed 2 degrees at address and then 4 degrees at impact then it knows that it closed 2 degrees relative to your address position.. So, yes it is SOLID..
