It is all about the final product and what millions upon millions love to hear. It is not about what some author of some arcane textbook says is "good". You snobs are just too much lol! @vonbear1 Her dad or mom is with Jackie at all times, I don't know if her mom worked or not, I can see him selling his business to help look after Jackie on the road and studio. I am sure he is being paid about the same as his business. I don't think there is any money going to Jackie or her parents till Jackie is 18 or 21, it goes into a trust account. The law change years ago, I am sure I heard Brenda Lee say on tv years ago that she has to keep living in the slum area till she turned 18.

but, trully! you apparently havent listened to the real child voices with wonderful intonation and timbro ever)there are plenty of young singers who perform ACADEMICALLY way in my country)) and it only proves the idea that in the USA ANYONE can achieve a lot)))but, of course, that anyone is not the right one and not a talent unfortunately.

that is my opinion)and i definitely adore such american singer as Marilyn Horne.Robertino Loretti was a talent! simply compare)

@ucolka Many people think she sings incredibly well with what little coaching she has received up to now. Yes it is a male aria but other females have sung it(Durbin, Brightman). And if you can't hear the emotion in Jackie's performance you truly are not listening.

@cutiekiska She could put her lips right on it if she chose to do so but she has been advised that it might create distortion. If you watch her sing with a hand-held mike she does put it closer to her mouth but not so close as to ruin the sound.
