Keith, baked Ziti is VERY Italian. It's served using buffalo cheese and not so much meat. Commonly, it was baked for weddings; it fed a lot of people for little money. My mom used to tell me stories about grandma making it for her friend's weddings before coming to America.

One quick question though!! Can you kindly please tell me what your tomato sauce recipe is? Is it just plain cooked on the stove tomatoes or is there any spices in your tomato sauce?
