Single Turbo LS1 3rd Gen Camaro vs LT1 Camaro

orange car is a single turbo ls1, not sure of the turbo or transmission. he drove it to and from the track that night. green car is a mostly stock LT1 6 speed.

It is really getting old hearing people say this track is downhill, it elevates 21 feet from start to finish, it just goes WAY uphill after the finish line.

It is also the slowest track in Ohio, by a minimum of 2 tenths, usually more like 3 or 4.

@chevy4trevy after owning both i like my 4th gen better as a daily driver but my 3rd gen was a funner beat the hell out of car, i always liked 4th gens look better but now 3rd gens are starting to become rare. the 4th gen f body is the new fox body, there cheap and fast.

Ooh btw the car only made 378rwhp and 502ftlbs on a mustang dyno with a 150 shot. Where I had it done was 2000 ft above my elevation and t ran extremely rich as well but still managed too run 10.8

And a custom ground cam. May go with a d1sc and some spray. I need too pit a roll cage in this winter, dana 60 and most likely a 4l80 too withstand the punishment. My stock 700r4 with the transgo1&2 kit is spent. All drive fine if you baby it but it slips out of gear as soon as you launch it.

I have planes heads with manly raceflo valves,comp beehive springs,hitch pushrods,xfi280 cam, 52 mm tb with ported intake, 355 with 11.2to1 comp. 3000 stall with lockup, pacesetter lt's with y-pipe and gmmgcatback. 4.10 gears mt et streets bias ply 25.5/10.5/17. Nitrous outlet plate kit,u.m.I ta,la's, strange adjustable shocks, and im sure there's more im missing. On a 150 shot I ran 10.8@127 with a 1.54 60' at estadrags. Rebuilding this winter to a fully forged 358 or 385 with le3's

@ddawg122184 maybe a bone stock one with 2.73 gears. my buds 02 z28 convertible ran a 13.8 here bone stock. he got a full exhaust with cats 3.73s and a tune and now he is at 12.9 @108 at Thomson. we doesnt go to Quaker anymore, he says why risk breaking his car for a slow time ( his car is immaculate) my 93 z28 is doin 13.8's here @98 with full exhaust and a CAI and stock 3.23 gears. it is nice having a 700r4 im ours, with tires ur got to be in the low 13's high 12's right?

Remember its just a stock 305 3rd gen......with a parachute. lol

my z28 is running 13.8's there on street tires when it hooks. lt1 4th gen auto pretty stock. CAI, full exhaust with cat. Quaker should make this track completely flat if they ever redo it, alot of people go to Thompson just to gain a few tenths.
