Wolfenstein 3D for iPhone!

Wolf3d, ahh yes i think we all know this title.
Ok i admit i forgot to mention the alternative tilt controls built into the game, but then again i think your going to assume it has tilt controls considering every other app on the iphone uses it!

Hi, cool vid.

I got a quick question, concerning the controls:

With the controls you use the left bent arrows mean turn / spin.

And on the right side, the arrow to the left / right ... is that also for turning/spinning --- or (as i hope) for strafe-action?

P.S.: I am more of a Doom fan as well. Hopefully id will release it some day soon. :)

I use the left arrows for turning left and right (bent arrows) and the right arrors (straight) for strafing left and right aswell as moving forward and back. It can be a little hard to hit the shoot button sometimes though.

Yea i'd love to play doom on my iphone, but i think it'll be a bit of a novelty considering i've played it on the go with my GBA for some time now.

great review! Thanks! I'll probably pick this up at some point. Will likely wait for a price drop though. You mentioned "2.99", I presume that's british pounds, cause I think it's $6 U.S.. right now. It's probably worth that much, but I've noticed there tends to be a price drop on games like this after a couple months.

i got the lite version, did you know now they have the high res guns from the jaguar and snes insted of the old pixelated guns on it now?

I bought this today for 1.99 american dollars today, not sure how much it cost originally, but I'm glad i didn't pay that more than that. Not that the game is bad (it's actually very addicitng) but every time I play it I get a head ache, why would i pay 6 bucks for a head ache? Good Game otherwise

Yeah Version 1 controls were bad but the Update made them amazing. They have the best Iphone FPS controls
