STN... if your burmese is actually black, and not a very dark brown, I hope it's a European. American burmese come in 4 colors, sable, blue, champagne, and platinum. Lovely cats!

Our Burmese came from London. Emu has matured into a very dark brown, chocolate in fact. The new Moa is a slightly lighter.

Love burmese cats but they are not for the lazy person.

I rescued one 3 years ago and he's unlike any other cat I've had. He demands a level of relationship and interaction which is more human like.

My dog adores him and Hero does best to pretend he doesn't feel the same. It classic to bust him sleeping with Mort when i get home from work....

"Me? Sleeping with a dog?! You underestimate me sir!"

aww... just like ours, they all play and attacks arms the same! This was my first cat @ 26 and I have missed out with just dogs :(. I think I like them because they are so dog like, they just love you so much. Follow you around, play hide and seek, fetch things and are so playful and social. Awesome breed! Ours is obsessed with sleeping under the dooner on the odd occasion we let her in, loves being covered and cocooned.

I love Burmese cats. My first one died over a year ago at 16 yrs old. And my new girl Izzy passed away today. We had to say goodbye. She had a heart defect. I so miss her. She was only a year old.
