  • Damn, I remember when Pintos were just throw-away cars. Now, they (especially the wagons) are good looking cars compared to the dumpy SUV's and soulless jellybean abortion-on- wheels (Pontiac Solstice) that are sold today.

  • I love pinto's

  • Looks like my '79

  • Sharp Pinto...love the 79!

  • A friend of mine had a blue '76 wagon, the last time I saw it, it had over 250k miles on it. Those were actually very good cars, and if the oil was changed regularly and the car maintained, the engine just seemed to go forever.

  • the datsuns did the same thing when rear ened of the same year

  • Wait til your rear endend bye bye you

  • yeah, last year of the pinto. As long as you checked the oil often, they lasted ok. If you didnt' you could ruin the engine in a short time. It was common for them to use a quart of oil in a 1000 miles.

  • poor sound

  • looks like a 1979 model

  • Perfect car for attracting drive-bys. Won't be long before somebody sprays these illegals.

  • i don't know if they actually fixed them, but the later ones were probably fine
