The Kut: 'Doesn't Matter Anyway'

THE KUT: 'DOESN'T MATTER ANYWAY'. This all girl band released this single in 2009, followed by their UK tour spanning through Birmingham, Blackpool, Sheffield, Leeds, Chester, Liverpool, Manchester, Brighton, London and ending in Bristol. The Double A-side featuring Doesn't Matter Anyway & Closure is available now at iTunes and other download stores. Likened to L7, The Slits and 4 Non Blondes, mainly due to the all female theme, the band have already appeared on Radio 1 Introducing, and are currently preparing their next music video. Doesn't Matter Anyway was Produced by Tom Norton, Juxtapose Films. In 2010 Maha secured an endorsement deal with Marshall Amplifications, making her one of the only female guitarists in the UK to have one. Recently headlining at 800 capacity Proud Gallery, Camden for the Criminal Records Harajuku event, the girls are currently recording their debut album 'Lies My Mother Told Me' at Cartel Studios in Acton. Expect slick riffs, and an upbeat tempo for quite an edgy track. Recent support in Los Angeles is really promising for the band right now, and we are looking forward to flying them out soon! It isn't awful, I do prefer something a little heavier myself though. If there was a little bit of a growl here and then and if the guitar riff kicked in a bit heavier, I think it would be spot on. But that is just my opinion and to be fair, if they did that, they wouldn't be them. So good luck girls! If your down Wolverhampton way I wouldn't say no to seeing you live ;oD xx
