Hedda Gabler (Diana Rigg) Part 1

The beautiful yet callous Hedda Gabler (Diana Rigg) feels trapped by her stifling marriage. Consumed by her passions and threatened by those around her, she yearns to have power over someone else's destiny. When an ex-lover returns, Hedda uses her charms to manipulate and destroy him, leading to a tragic fate for herself and everyone she loves.

Based on a play by Henrik Ibsen.

You're writing a paper on the play Hedda Gabler for a Acting class or Literature class? This is a great play to write on. There are many people through out the years who have been doing research on theories on why Hedda is the way she is and why she does what she does.
