  • Can you use vegetative propagation on orchids successfully?

  • @Shadow9T A fungicide for plants.

  • What exactly is he using @ 1:37? I have trouble hearing what he is saying.

  • Very informative and helpful. Thank you, very much!!! You give me confidence to try and keep orchids!

  • Very nicely detailed video, one of the better ones I've seen about pruning a Phalaenopsis. Thanks!

Is it OK to cut above a higher node? I'm just concerned about how high the new spike will grow. It looks like your example grew a nice and long healthy spike. Is the new spike size dependent upon how healthy the plant is and the conditions? Also, I like to see multiple branches off a spike. How do you encourage the plant to do that?

  • Thanks for this video! I just cut my orchid for the first time, hope it will grow back.

  • Thank you so much! Now I know!

  • Is it my computer or is the sound a little weird?

  • thanks for this nice done all incl video of cutting process !
