Play Music on Counter-Strike Source without HLDJ

Tutorial on how to play audio files on any game by (simply put) making a virtual microphone. Using Winamp and Virtual Audio Cable.
Watch in 1080p.

Simple instructions if you don't want to watch video:
1. Download & Install: Winamp & Virtual Audio Cable 4.10
2. Go to preferences - Plugins - Output - Nullsoft DirectSound Output [Configure] - Set Output Device to Line 1
3. Set Line 1 as default input device.
Done, whenever you play files in Winamp they will play it through Line 1 (Virtual mic)
Also heres a script to put in your autoexec.cfg for CSS so you don't have to hold your mic button down, instead it will toggle.

alias voiceon "+voicerecord; bind button voiceoff"
alias voiceoff "-voicerecord; bind button voiceon"
bind "button" "voiceon"

Replace button with whatever key you want, I use mouse3.

Hey, is there a faster way to transition between songs rather than minimizing and individually selecting a song?

@ressurrectin There is a easier way to do this :P, turn pc sound to max, play music, and in game just hold "k", everyone should hear it, if your mic is near

This is so much harder then HLDJ and I can't get my fucking head set to work with it. All i can do is play music and that suck because if i want to talk to people to i need to quit CSS, do some random complicated crap then join css again. and the audio repeater just keeps replaying the song until its just a high pitch sequel. and why was the program made, I don't see any other purpose that playing music in game so why would anyone buy this shit. your tutorial didn't work

I done everything you said but i can only hear myself in the mic when i test it and winamp is playing music through virtual cable line 1 in output,and i set virtual cable to line 1,whats going on.

i done everything you said and now it says my Headset isnt plugged in,it all went haywire when i set line1 as default.
