There's a interesting story on why Pacman looked so bad.
Basically it was a demo that got released as the actual game.

Can't be a Hardcore gamer without one. LOL I bet that would piss off the "Hardcore Community." I mostly emulate Atari out of ease and convenience, but I do own one its just in a moisture shielded static resistant bag inside a box in my attic. I will not part with it even if its broken. Well if it breaks I part once I replace it but you know I got to have one just like my channel F and one day I hope to have an Odyssey 1.

@kainkusanagi why is this show called 2-bit gaming why not 8-bit gaming?
432noob 5 months ago
@432noob The term "two bits" has evolved over the years. It goes back to when a it was slang for 25 cents. An 1/8 of a dollar was one bit and a 1/4 dollar was two bits. If a pair of shoes cost $0.25 they would be called two bit shoes. It came to mean anything cheaply made.
It also means to give your opinion, probably because everyone has opinions or because a newspaper once cost 25cents. That's why it's the name of the show. At the end of each video I give my "two bits" on the subject.

E.T killed Atari (as well as the video game industry for years)...look it up
ravager48 1 year ago
@ravager48 E.T. is just one bad game, it was part of a larger problem and didn't single handily kill Atari or the US video game industry. The market was saturated with bad games, too many consoles, and too little innovation.
