The stone is probably a couple of degrees different than the others because water runs underneath it (there are underwater drains throughout the Priory). The noises heard were probably fish/birds in the river or tramps under the by-pass bridge - not ghosts! Oh, and the young lady missed out the line 'deliver us from evil' from her prayer
