Live8 London 2005

Featuring Madonna Geldof Travis Sting REM. It was July 2nd - The G8 summit was to take place on July 6th.
The idea to put pressure on the G8 to help end world poverty.
Even today people think it was a money raising event.
It did raise money for the Prince's Trust, but it's main purpose was to get people to give their names to the cause of dropping third world debt - the interest on the debt increases faster than the debts are being paid.

The tickets from the tout, hotel, airfare (from Canada) and expenses made my trip expensive, but it was so worth it. I think you caught my Canadian flag there. Great video man, thanks!

Live 8 is amazing along with all the artists. I didn't realize how many people there were until I saw some of the footage and was leaving. Great video.
