I've been listening to this CD a lot recently and I felt like learning this song since it's one of my favorites! If you haven't, go check out Dead Letter Circus...great band and very cool guys. Single shot/take.

This really warms my heart. Not many people know of Dead Letter Circus. This band is my greatest musical discovery in many years. A little advise: Try to loosen up a little from 2.17 you look a bit too tense. I cant judge from this video, but it seems like you are using your wrist on your right hand wrong. In those speedy passages it is more healthy for your hand to use your fingers, to get up in speed.

You may know all this, and i am probably wrong about the hand. Good luck!

@AddictedToSmegma I agree, they are one of my new favorite bands for sure. The angle on this video doesn't really show my wrist movements very well...for the bulk of those parts I kept my wrist loose and drove from my forearm, but it gives it that slight "every other" accent..so for 2:17 and on I switch to 1 downstroke/2 up with fingers to get the accents to go with the snare, then switch back to forearm in between. My forearm works a little for velocity, but my wrist is loose.
