both red and blue have done nothing but increase their wallets and by choosing a side you are playing into their trap, the overhall needed is to put people in office who actually strive to do good and not take bribes to protect rich interests, both partys are sooo very guilty and in reality working towards the same agenda, bush and gore 2000 run on the same exact platform and yet the country was so divided over that election I puke to think about it

@goldsilverandiamonds However I would agree with you that spending more money is not the whole answer. Change is needed in the system the USA should follow the paths of European countries by giving less pointless tests. Better teacher training, and a stronger focus on a childs social development as well as educational development. All of these are proven to yield better results than traditional methods of teaching. And they do not cost any more! They simply take some liberalism!!

Cy-Typical foreign liberal liar you said it was underfunded in your earlier comment.Europe has nowhere near the diversity that America has.People sneaking in from other countries who do not speak the language but go to public schools, how might that affect test scores?Europe sucks that's why people leave it and still want to,many Europeans want the taste of freedom again they have been strangled by massive intrusive government that has made them scared and poor.Euorpe is dead thanks to Liberals.

You miss read my comment. I Said that there needs more funding but there is also a need for change in the education system and that throwing money at it without change is not the answer.

You once again REFUSE to comment on the civil libertys that Bush took away with 'the patriot act'.

i would go as far as to say that you obviously have never been to Europe if you think that were all queuing up to enter the USA! This isn't the 19th century.

Your utter stupidity is laughable European countries such as Switzerland Sweden and Norway are the most socialist countries in Europe yet all of them are ranked as a more free nation by the Democracy Index. The USA is a pitiful 18th on the Index. A measure of a democracy is not how small the government is but instead how good it looks after its citizens whilst still giving them individual liberties and rights.

Europe is not dead only a moron who lives under a rock would claim such a thing. The modern Europe is the cradle of democracy face it the USA has lost its flame!! Simply because its government was held to ransom by big companys in order to pay as little tax as possible. And the side affect of this was a lack of social help for the countries citizens.

@goldsilverandiamonds It is true that the USA spends more on education than most other countries but that is for the simple fact that it is the richest country in the world. If you were to compare % spending on education compared to the USAs GDP it would fall to 56th place.

@goldsilverandiamonds I love the way youve refused to comment on any of my remarks about Bushs role in destroying personal liberty!! I also love the way that you still believe that liberalism and socialism are similar. THEY ARE NOT. If you would only google it you would find that liberalism and conservatism are very similar on economic polocies and government size. Both conservatives and liberalists believe in small government and little intervention in the economy.
