Thanks for that feedback, I saw it a while back but I did FINALLY want to say thanks. Sorry for it's untimeliness.

How do you know what colors to tint with? It looked like you used purple for a red base. Why? What colors look natural to what?

@Ydouneed2nomyname it's all about colour theory :)
Just google it, and you'll find some info on wikipedia. Get yourself a colour wheel, and learn about, complimentary, split complimentary, tinting and shading. just wikipedia it :) you'll learn all you need to know.

i checked back a few comments and didn't see this already asked. i was wondering what the white thing is you're using to mount the mini on?
i use extra paints pots but that seems to be a bit larger and have a bit more heft to it. it seems to me like that would make my hands steadier.
great videos! they've helped me so much. it's so, so incredibly helpful to see exactly how these effects are built up very slowly over the course of several sessions!

Hey,
I think i talk about it in another video, but i just use old pill bottles... :P the huge tops are great for bases, as the indent is the exact same size as a base. Thanks for the kind words! I try my best to help out!

Great vid - I'm not sure if I missed it or not, but what was the undercoat on the cape? Was it completely Blood Red (or equivalent)?
