@SuperGuardianX Thanks for the info. Do u know where I can find the part or the disc? I turned mine and it worked but I would like to get the part or the disc just in case it brakes again.

this video is pointless, you are telling people what to do based on wire colorings..what if the colors are different in their unit?

Take the white relay apart, you will find a ceramic disc inside, it will be cracked, pull it out clean the contacts NOT the disc. Turn the disc so all four contacts have contact and then re assemble. If your disc is broken to the point where it is not usable you can try to find the relay the part number on it is, crps309050. Or try to find a disc with the same amperage as the original, DO NOT use a Qstart unless the HEAT SENSOR IS RE INSTALLED AND WORKING it needs it to prevent a OVERHEAT/FIRE

I miss my skybox!... This is my 2nd time replacing the hardstart relay.... but now it doesn't work!... Compressor starts and it cools in the back but not in the unit itself..... I have a tech that even though the pressure tubes are sealed he has a way to check and refill with freon. Will keep you guys posted on a fix.

Where can I get these components for my skybox ?

THANK-YOU THANK-YOU!!!! A local repair person wanted 250.00 to fix so into the garage it sat for the last 6 months. Before I got rid of it I decided to just search issues once again. I am so thankful I found your video. Thanks for sharing your experience. The guy offered to take it away for 35.00!(freon recycle fee) CRIMINAL I just cleaned and moved it back to the bar area of the basement. It was only a year old. Bought it on cleaance at Depot for 100.00 so I wasnt going to spend 250. on it.

Don't use this. I almost burned my house to the ground! If I did not come in the house when I did, I would not have one! Smoke was everywhere and there was a hissing noise coming out of the back. The back wall was black. Yes, I followed the directions carefully as stated here. I know this is not a true proven safe method to fix the machine. One must know about refrigeration and cooling before messing with electrical components. I do not!

I followed these directions, bought the erp410, installed it as directed from this video and plugged the machine back in. It worked for about 4 weeks and my drinks were cooling again. I had a power outage for a short time, about 2 minutes, and when the power returned, I could hear a clicking sound like the compressor was trying to work, then it would shut off. I bought a new erp410 and installed it in same manner as the old one. I went outside to work, came back, and black smoke was pouring out!
Chance are the compressor is on it's way out if you need to use a hard start 3n1 relay in place of the factory start relay to get the compressor to run.

@appliancejunk Well I was just thinking about ordering another ERP410...I really miss this thing running. Especially in the summer now. Since I can't just leave drinks in the garage. Anyways...I got instructions from a maytag repair guy, who said this work. He helped me with the wiring points. But I am wondering if the reason, the ERP410 quit, is because the compressor did quit. And putting a new one on is why they burned up. I guess for $12 who cares.
