It shock's me that after a small fire the power still work's. Does that mean It didn't do much damage? I'm glad your okay. I'm glad that now your house Is fixed.
When comparing this to other fires you REALLY lucked out like someone elese commented, about a week from a fire clean up company and it will be like nothing ever happend but don't do dumb things I know we all do but man you just dodged a 100 mph bullet. Good luck with the clean up and best wishes.
my 41' trailer in Washington state burned to the ground and spread to our van in fifteen minutes. from the moment i saw smoke coming from all windows to about two minutes, it was a flashover fire. when i first opened the door to try to get to the fire and put it out, it erupted and was too hot to approach. all thats left of the home now is a big black spot on google earth. you sir are VERY lucky you (or the fire dept) got to this fire in time! i hope all is going well for you now.
well luckily this fire was not to bad. You are quite lucky that this is the only damage done. Just goes to show how much damage the smallest fires can do.
Bro you got veeeeery lucky. Never leave candles unattended, but either you did a hell of a job to contain it or the firmen made a killer save cause you had maybe 60 ore seconds till the house went engulfed in flames. 1 week of heavy duty cleaning by servicemaster you should be fine. Fuck it, the damge isn't shit in retrospect to what could have happened. Stay up buddy.
Remove that crappy comment I left using my old account. Years ago, I said the stupidest things.
