Mona The Angel Of Iran

Mona aged 17 to-gether with 10 woman was executed for doing sunday school her religion was BAHAI, because of her youth and conspicuous innocence became, in a sense, a symbol of the group. In prison, she was lashed on the soles of her feet with a cable and forced to walk on bleeding feet.
Yet she never waivered in her faith, even to the point of kissing the hands of her executioner, and then the rope, before putting it around her own throat.

@Yesica1993 - If all these heinous misdeeds can be done unto Baha'is, supposedly in the name of Islam, and yet we can still see beyond that that this is not representative of Islam's teachings, then why are others unable to do so?

Monstrous! Where was the outrage of civilized people everywhere?! Why did I not know about this? Where was the UN? Amnesty International? Human rights organizations? Can we bring all the Bahai's in Iran to the United States?

During the Great Prophet Mohammed's time there was an oral tradition for communication. Much of His words were written down well after his death & little in his day. This has led to distortions of his words - e.g. Sharia being words of Man, not the Manifestation of God's - as they pick & choose the bits that fit their culture & agenda. Theocracies like Iran run on corruptions of the holy words, including ignoring The Prophet's instruction to respect all faiths, give equality to women, etc.

The Baha'i faith's structures and processes do not allow people to gain power by canvassing for positions nor to hold office without fully democratic annual elections. Always decisions are made by consultation and concensus, with no one in a higher position than another. ALL those in office are there to support and encourage Baha'is to give service to the wider community - regardless of their faith - and not just to Baha'is. The people of the world are seen as one race, under one God.

@colieperson - The fact of the matter is that evil, by itself, is powerless. The only power that evil has resides in corrupting something that is good. That which is evil requires that which is good in order to prosper. The unifying principles and protective laws of Islam are good, and come from the source of all good. It is no wonder that the doers of evil seek to use that power, a power granted by God, for evil purposes. This is why the worst enemies of any faith are always from within it.

Disgusting men!!!.......any religion where women are seen as garbage is ridiculous and in all organized religion it all comes down to power over others not about actual faith or spirituality....religion and politics should never coincide to many oppertunities for people to manipulate and twist with hatred and ignorance which are the true evils in this world !!!!!
