Id reckon a Les Paul bass with bartos is way more powerful than a Rickenbacker with standard pickups.

@AFNYOAQIS I think you need to try a few more, then chief. I wouldn't say either was better, as they sell on their unique merits - but both have their odd little quirks. Both have remained relatively wedded to their original design ideas.
